£18K settlement for finger injuries sustained at work

Kester Cunningham John has obtained £18K for Mr S who had two fingers crushed by a faulty machine. The first solicitors he consulted valued the claim at around £10K.
Mr S continues to suffer numbness, throbbing, aching, discomfort and a tendency to joint stiffening. His grip is impaired and he has only 50% use of his index finger on his dominant hand. His symptoms are permanent and, after some argument, his employers eventually admitted full liability for the incident.
