£10,000 for undiagnosed burst appendix

Kester Cunningham John clinical negligence specialist Julie Crossley has obtained a £10,000 compensation settlement for a 7 year old girl whose burst appendix went undiagnosed for 10 days when she was 5. As a result, when the problem was eventually diagnosed correctly, she required more extensive surgery and post-operative treatment than would otherwise have been the case.
