KCJ have signed up to sponsor Cambridge University Amateur Rugby League Football Club (CUARLFC) for the next two seasons including the tour to Jamaica in 2010. This follows on from the firm's sponsorship last year which included a tour to Australia, a successful BUCS season and topped off with a varsity win at Twickenham.
KCJ is pleased to be able to support the University and Club in this way. It is testament to the profile the club now commands within the university that KCJ have committed to the next two seasons primary sponsorship .Stephen Goddard , Business Development Director for KCJ is very happy with the relationship between themselves and the club , "We have followed the club with interest this year and are impressed with the professional approach both on and off the field. The sport of Rugby League is dynamic , fast and for people who aren't familiar with the game it is apparent that it is a very honest game where you have to give your all to the cause. It was fantastic to see the boys top off a very successful season with a varsity win. It was also very encouraging to see the side win against Harlequins RL junior academy. The tour to Jamaica will be a first for a university club and we are proud to sponsor the club for the next two years."
General Manager John Evans is pleased with the partnership between KCJ and CUARLFC , "We have worked closely with Stephen and the staff at KCJ to maximise the company's profile within the university and beyond. The exposure we give at the varsity match can only be matched by the union and rowing clubs as we are only one of three varsity clashes televised live".
The firm looks forward to welcoming University and Club officials to the KCJ annual lunch which takes place in September at Downing College.
